Your Chamber-
Job Corps Connection:

Partnering to Link Employers to Skilled-Entry Level Youths

The national Job Corps program is one of the U.S. Department of Labor's most successful youth education and career training programs, with nearly 65,000 economically disadvantaged youth receiving education and career training annually.

Over the past four years, ICW worked with state and local chambers to establish and expand partnerships with local Job Corps centers, one-stop centers, and the public education system, connecting employers with qualified youth who are skilled, motivated, and ready to start careers.

Based on the success of these chamber-Job Corps partnerships, ICW developed an online toolkit for chambers of commerce and Job Corps centers to connect employers with qualified youth who are skilled, motivated, and ready to start careers.
