National Chamber Litigation Center Briefs Media on Supreme Court Cases
June 21, 2006

The National Chamber Litigation Center (NCLC) today briefed the media on business-related cases from the high court's most recent term, and more specifically, those cases in which the NCLC filed amicus curiae briefs on behalf of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Speaking at today's briefing were Beth Brinkmann, partner in the Washington, D.C. office of Morrison & Foerster LLP, who focused her remarks on cases involving anti-trust, environmental, and securities litigation issues; and Carter Phillips, managing partner of the Washington, D.C. office of Sidley Austin, who spoke on intellectual property, employee discrimination, and RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act) cases.
