Transcript

Contrary to the rhetoric emerging from Tom Daschle's campaign office, the print ads running in South Dakota on the FSC/ETI bill are simply conveying the importance of this legislation to the business community.  It's a matter of dollars and cents, not election-year politics. As E.U. tariffs on American goods rise monthly, more sectors of the U.S. economy stand to lose out, making the FSC/ETI bill an increasingly vital piece of legislation.  Senator Daschle's cooperation and leadership in bringing this bill to the floor in a timely manner is critical both to manufacturers and employers here at home and to American competitiveness abroad.
