Transcript

The Environmental Protection Agency has issued a proposal which would allow it to regulate greenhouse gases under the Clean Air Act. If adopted, this EPA proposal will impose huge new costs on the American economy.  Businesses of every size, including farmers, would be subject to a costly and bureaucratic process.  Jobs will be lost because businesses will not be able to get permits.  And it is important to point out -it will not just be the large manufacturers that will bear the burden this time.  It's the little guys:  the hotel you stayed at this weekend, the bakery where you bought your donuts, the office building you work in, even your church.  So what can you do?  Join the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in opposing the EPA's attempt to control the development of new businesses in the U.S.  Visit www dot vote for business dot net and go to the action center … where you can quickly write a letter telling EPA now is not the time to propose burdensome restrictions on the development of new businesses.
