WASHINGTON, D.C. - The United States Chamber of Commerce today announced its endorsement of Rep. Frank Wolf (R-VA-10) for re-election, praising his strong support for Virginia businesses, both large and small.
      
"Frank Wolf has been a champion for the people of northern Virginia and an invaluable leader on important business issues," said Bill Miller, Chamber senior vice president and political director. "The Chamber believes Representative Wolf will continue to be an effective legislator and supporter of businesses of every size if re-elected." Rep. Wolf has worked to advance pro-growth policies important to northern Virginia with regard to technology, manufacturing, and transportation.
     
"On issues ranging from economic competitiveness to fiscal responsibility, Virginia's business community has no better friend than Frank Wolf," said Miller.

 

The U.S. Chamber plans to play a big role in the upcoming national elections, endorsing candidates who have demonstrated support for business priorities and will work to advance a pro-growth agenda in Congress.  In 2006, 222 of the 277 Chamber endorsed candidates were elected.
     
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the world's largest business federation, representing more than three million businesses and organizations of every size, sector, and region.
